Art Programs

Quilting and Sewing Classes

Experienced Quilting instruction  Tuesdays 10:00am - 2:00pm

Quilters explore new patterns, materials, methods  to complete individual projects


Youth basic sewing skills 

Tuesdays 2:00pm - 4:00pm 

Students learn to operate sewing machines, read patterns, select fabric & notions, cut out & complete projects.


We are currently working on individual projects with instruction & support. Supplies are provided.


Darlean Welch is our gifted instructor who guides both beginners and experienced quilters through individual projects. We are very excited to announce that the Quilting Program has its own space (a former classroom) fitted with machines, irons, material, cutting table & notions! 


Youth through Seniors with all levels of experience are welcome. FVRC is handicapped accessible.

Art Shows

FVRC is proud to support local artists by hosting annual art shows. Past shows include works by Charles Byron, Robert Borchard, Cosette Byron Jarvis, Isaac Ludwig, Talcon Quinn, and Travis Walters.

Line Dancing

Line Dancing Lessons 

1st & 3rd Thursday from 6-7:30pm each month


Karen Sisson is our instructor, she has many years of experience teaching both classic line dances and also new ones to the songs you’re listening to now! $5 lesson cost supports music program.

Free Dances

Free dances are held each spring and fall.

All are encouraged to attend these events

with live bands and callers.
