Music Programs

Instrument Lending Library

Community members of all ages can borrow instruments from our instrument lending library for school or personal use. We currently have instruments in 5 counties! A large collection of instruments is available to borrow by individuals in the area for 2 months at a time (10 months for students in school band). This collection includes guitars both acoustic & electric, bass, mandolins, banjos, fiddles, dulcimers, drums & rhythm instruments, brass & woodwind. All that is required is a signature & contact information.

Lending Library is open Thursdays from 5-7pm.

Appointments can be requested to use the library at a different time.

Music Lessons

Our music program is the shining star of FVRC. Throughout the year, we offer low-cost weekly individual music lessons ($15) for youth and adults in the area and free lessons when grants make it possible.

Musical Performances

We host a variety of performances by local musicians each month at 7pm through our 2nd Saturday Performance Series.

Bluegrass Jams

We have a Bluegrass Jam every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month from 2-4pm.

This event is for musicians and those interested in listening.

Musician Showcase

Performances showcasing young musicians in their 20s & 30s are held throughout the year.
